Valentine Re-mailing Program

Loveland's Valentine Re-mailing Program is the largest of its kind in the nation. The Loveland Chamber of Commerce and the United States Postal Service have been teaming up for 70 years with their internationally renowned Valentine Re-mailing Program. Since 1947, the Chamber, the Loveland post office and 60 volunteer stampers have been bringing love, hope and sentiments to people in all 50 states and more than 110 countries with a special cachet stamp and message through the program. More than 160,000 valentines get mailed each year from mothers to sons, grandfathers to granddaughters and everyone in between. Famous athletes, celebrities and even the president often get valentines stamped with Loveland’s special message. Some of the most heartfelt valentines that have come through Loveland are the ones sending messages of hope and love to our troops overseas, to children battling life-threatening illnesses and to those who are overcoming tragedy and need an extra note of encouragement.

Official Loveland Valentine Card

Each year, the Loveland Chamber of Commerce opens up the opportunity to local artists and authors to design and write the Official Loveland Valentine Card. This card is distributed to local retailers, including King Soopers, the Valentine Re-mailing Program's Exclusive sponsor, and will be available mid-December. You can also purchase your cards online.

Card, Cachet, and Verse Contests

Before the start of the Sweetheart City's Re-mailing Program, the Loveland Chamber opens up the opportunity for local artists and authors to submit design and verse entries for the Official Loveland Valentine card and cachet. This allows Loveland artists and writers to demonstrate their vision of the Sweetheart City and Valentine’s Day in Loveland. Winning card and verse entries will be used to create the official Loveland Valentine, which is sold throughout northern Colorado. Winning cachet designs and verse entries will be compiled and stamped on all outgoing valentines produced through the Annual Valentine Re-mailing Program.
